Ski with the English and British Alpine Ski Team at the 2008 Corporate Ski Challenge at Chill Factore – Thursday 4th September

Snowsport GB and Snowsport England are taking over Chill Factore on Thursday 4th September! Whatever your level of skiing, come and race with the British Alpine Ski Team at Chill Factore! Teams of 4 will join up with 1 elite skier and race in the Corporate Ski Challenge with funds raised going towards helping the British and English Alpine Ski Teams in their quest for International success in the 2008/2009 season!

A maximum of 20 teams of five skiers, each team comprising of 4 corporate guests and one professional ski racer, including Olympian Alain Baxter, will be split into mini leagues and compete in a Parallel Slalom on the indoor ski slope at Chill Factore.

The slalom will be a head-to-head challenge between teams, with the first team to get all of their skiers down the slalom course winning. The top teams from the mini leagues will progress to the knock out stages and then, if successful, onto the Grand Final to crown the 2008 Corporate Ski Challenge Champions.

After the Ski Challenge the teams will be able to enjoy the superb hospitality facilities at Chill Factore, relaxing with a drink at the bar before sitting down to an excellent 3-course dinner with wine. Prize Giving will take place after the dinner.

Corporate Entertainment Package

The package will be for a team of four guests to participate in the Corporate Ski Challenge, including:

  • 3 hours of skiing at Chill Factore with coaching from British or English Ski Team elite athlete (who will act as team captain), and including the Parallel Slalom racing
  • Hire of all ski wear and equipment as required, including boots, skis, poles and clothing
  • Full three course dinner with wine after the skiing
  • Team photograph with the elite athlete

The cost of the team package will be £500+ VAT. To enter a team, please fill in the attached booking form.

Optional extras

In addition to the corporate package, companies have the opportunity to:

  • Display a company banner at the event – cost £100+VAT (Cost of production of the banner is extra – max size 4mx1m)
  • Sponsor the race bibs which will feature your company logo – cost of design and production of bibs is £1,000+VAT

Schedule for the 2008 Corporate Ski Challenge

  • Thursday September 4th 2008
  • 6.00pm – Arrival/registration opens at Chill Factore. Issue of Ski equipment
  • 6.30pm - Meet Team Captains, teams allowed 30 minutes of warm-up and coaching on the slopes
  • 7.00pm - Parallel Slalom Race commences. Minimum of four races for every team in mini leagues.
  • 8.15pm - Knock-out finals for winning teams from mini leagues
  • 9.00pm - Dinner and Prize Giving ending at c.11.00pm
